About Light Snow
November22 - December 6
The weather has truly turned and we begin to feel winter close its grasp around us. Classically, this is the season when the first snows of the year would fall; even if we don’t see snow yet, we’re definitely into “sweater weather” outside. Coming indoors is made all the more pleasant by harsh weather out of doors, and we begin to spend more time around our hearths at home. If we are very lucky, we’re surrounded by friends and family at this time of year, with good food filling up our bellies and happy thoughts of the holidays ahead. The wind may be blowing outside and frost may be icing up our windows, but with such warm feelings that the holidays bring, perhaps we don’t mind the cold so much. The dormant days of winter are settling in.
