About The Beginning of Winter
November 6 - 21
Autumn has reached its rapturous peak and now begun to slip into the depths of winter. Leaves may cling to branches, but more and more, our walks are strewn with greying, rustling piles that catch the wind. We pull our coats closer against the cold and rummage in our pockets for misplaced gloves. Thoughts turn to warming meals and cheerful planning for winter festivities. The mild autumn days and golden sunlight soon become marked by bitter, heavy storms and winds that lash against the windows and shake the walls. Surrender yourself to nature, the struggle between one season and the next, and enjoy the swirl of seasons turning about us.
